We specialize in custom home remodeling which includes bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, roofing & siding and many others.
We also provide architectural and engineering design consultation, and many other services to meet all your needs. It would be a pleasure to work with you on making your dream home come true!

As one of M&K’s founders, Mike has extensive background in kitchens, bathrooms and basement designs / layouts for over 25 years. Mike’s motto is that: “Each day is a blessing because there are no guarantees for tomorrow”.
Jeff Schiller
Chief Operating Officer
Jeff’s experience in Operations Management and Organizational Leadership in the mortgage, manufacturing, and finance industries allows him to bring 15+ years of corporate expertise to the M&K team. His motto is: “Quality is paramount – Process should be simple”.
Emily Gerace
Office Manager
Emily understands that the customer is the single most valuable asset an organization can have. She’s driven by the unrelenting pursuit of customer-driven focus, ideals and user experience. The motto that she lives by: “Treat everyone with respect, kindness and compassion”
Chris McGuckin
General Manager
As General Manager of M&K’s operations, Chris has a wealth of knowledge of what it takes to make each project unique and special. He makes sure they run smoothly in order to have a successful experience for each client. The motto he lives by every day: “Live each day to its fullest”.
Asa Carr
Director of Project Management
Prior to joining the M&K team, Asa spent 15+ years in a variety of leadership roles spanning both private and public sectors. He strongly believes that: “Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well”.
John Cavalieri
Director of Sales
John Cavalieri has nearly 20 years experience in the construction industry, starting as a union carpenter working his way into construction management. Incorporating old school business ethics with new school technology, John brings his enthusiasm and creativity in full force to the M&K Team. I am extremely finicky about the quality of all of our M&K projects. I have my nose in everything, and expect everyone to “tow the PLUMB LINE”! My motto is: “NEVER let them see you sweat, and NEVER SHARE THE KIBBLE!”
What Our Customers Have To Say About Us
Fantastic! M&K was contracted to replace a basement window but there was a lot of moving parts associated with the job. I needed to remove the old window, get a new washer and dryer delivered through the window (because the basement staircase wasn’t wide enough), and then install the new window. Ken from M&K worked with me to arrive early in the day before delivery and then come back to install after delivery. However, the delivery guys wouldn’t deliver to the basement through the window, nor remove the old appliances. I understand why (not company policy) but it was unexpected and left me in a bad situation. Called up Ken to let him know what happened and he refused any solution that didn’t involve him helping me move the appliances. He came over and 20 minutes later we had everything moved. 45 minutes later, the window was installed. Ken also comforted my 14-month old who was screaming because Dad was in the basement. It’s this kind of stuff that makes you stick with a contractor. I’ve used M&K for a few different projects in the past (window replacement, basement finishing, kitchen remodeling) totaling ~$20k but this is the first review I’ve written and it’s for a $600 project. It would be hard to go elsewhere. Also, window looks great, seal is perfect. No more draft.

M&K does outstanding work at a very reasonable price. But what makes them really special is their problem-solving skills. An old house like the one we just moved into just does have challenges–and M&K (special call-outs to Marc, Chris and Hugo!!) figured out how to make things look great with little or no added cost.

Wow! I am so happy. The pros at M&K are terrific. When I called, out of the blue, as they didn’t know me, they scheduled an appointment in two days for someone to come and give me an estimate. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but the estimator was able to give me some options and suggestions. When I called again to set up an appointment, there was a cancellation and they were able to do the work the next day! I had new overhead lights, and under cabinet lights, all on dimmers. The installers walked me through the types of lighting, and the characteristics of the lights I chose. They arrived on time, were very pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves. They were even nice to the dog!
