How long have you been in business?

M&K has been in business since March of 2008, but management has over 40 years of experience in the construction and remodeling industry.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Upon request, we can provide you any and all information regarding our policy information.

Can you provide a list of references?

Yes. You can also view our reviews on Google, Yelp, Houzz and Angies List.

Do you belong to any professional organizations?

Yes, we belong to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).

What can I expect after signing the contract?

Please refer to our Process Step Guide on the home page of our website.

Who will be my point-of-contact?

One of our professional general managers will be with you and your project from start to finish.

How do you manage your scheduling?

The schedule is managed with a careful hand from start to finish.

Do you provide workers comp to your employees?

Yes, all of our skilled crew members have full workers comp.

Do you offer any design services?

Yes, we have a dedicated design specialist for kitchens and bathrooms.

What is the daily work schedule for your team?

We work from 8AM to 4PM.

Will you sub-contract for my contract?

This will be dependent upon the scope and size of your project.

How much do you charge for estimates?

All of our estimates are completely free!

Do you offer a guarantee on your work?

Yes, we offer a 1 year warranty on our workmanship, unless it is from an act of god or negligence, if determined.

Technical QUESTIONS

What can I do to prepare for the start of my project?

Make sure to secure and remove all your valuable and sentimental items prior to the start of your project.

Where do I go to shop for materials?

We have many partners we work with that you can either visit at their brick and mortar store or on their website.

Will the same crew be on-site at all times to oversee the progress of the job?

Yes. We try our best to keep the same crew from your project start to finish. There may be some unforeseen reasons one of your crew members need to be on another job site.

Who pulls the required permits for the job, you or I?

You would be responsible for pulling the permit, unless you want us to do it, and then we wouldn’t have a problem to do that for you.

How long do jobs usually run for?

It all depends on the size of your projects. You can expect a project timeline and scope from your project manager.

Billing QUESTIONS

How do I make payments?

Payment can be made by cash, credit, check or by our financing options through RenoFi. Once you decide on payment, we ask you pay 1/3 upon signing of contract, 1/3 halfway through the renovation and the remaining 1/3 once the project is complete.

What is the payment schedule?

Payment varies depending on your project size and scope.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we provide financing through our financing partner, Renofi. Please refer to our Renofi Financing Page for additional information.
